Communication Graphic Designer Intern

Work on national brands and retailers helping execute work that redefines retail. You’ll support the creative team by designing work and presentation, executing ideas, and gaining insight into strategic work that impacts the customer experience (CX) – including national campaigns, consumer marketing and comms, shopping reinvention, and digital, social and mobile experiences. We believe working collaboratively makes better work, which means you’ll work alongside cross-disciplinary roles at the agency.

Partner with retail experts who have adapted to the dynamic changes seen over 30+ years in advertising and marketing:

  • Get hands-on experience from day one, partnering with our creative team to support and execute design work including digital, social, presentations, and experiential renderings
  • Own client projects and be responsible for your work with oversight from managing creative leads
  • Ideate and execute social posts for anchor clients, pulling from your full design skill set
  • (animation, video, etc.)
  • Rotate through agency disciplines, shadowing each to gain cross-disciplinary experience
  • Develop a portfolio project: Use conceptual and problem-solving skills to develop a new solution/campaign for an existing client, create the work and presentation, and present your ideas to the team and client
  • Bring your entrepreneurial energy to support the creative team on a daily basis

Desired Skills:
  • At least 2 years experience in communications design program
  • Impeccable, modern design skills; fresh and disruptive sense of design
  • Experience in Adobe suite of programs, including InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator; experience in Figma/XD, Premiere or Sketch a plus but not mandatory
  • Familiarity with Keynote/Google platform
  • A self-starter who is excited to dig into a dynamic, fast-paced, hybrid agency work environment with good creative judgment and enthusiasm
  • Dallas/DFW-area Preferred with flexible schedules to help you work around school or commitments

Compensation:
  • $21-23/hour is the pay range for this position
  • With 120 hours of work and the proper UNT review process, school credit will be earned
