CVAD Student Computer Lab Attendant

Job Description:
The CVAD computer lab services the students in the College of Visual Arts and Design as well as the rest of UNT. We offer software and hardware focused on designing and creating visual art. The Student Computer Lab Attendants assist students with both software and hardware issues while maintaining an inviting and productive atmosphere.

Job Duties and Responsibilities
  • Maintaining a productive and studious environment for the student patrons
  • Replenishing supplies and performing basic maintenance tasks on a variety of printers
  • Assisting students with computer-related questions
  • Checking in, checking out, and troubleshooting issues with equipment
  • Operation and instruction in the use of 3D printers and other burgeoning technology
  • Vacuuming, dusting, and generally maintaining the cleanliness of labs and classrooms
  • Additional tasks as needed, based on individual skills and interests

Employee Requirements:
An eligible candidate must have a decent working knowledge of computers and printers, must be adaptable to rapidly changing technology and eager to learn new equipment, must be service-oriented and enjoy assisting students. While all majors are accepted, CVAD students are preferred.

Schedule Dependent :
Applicants will be selected on their merit, experience, and availability.
